2010 National Jamboree

When a council contingent consists of three or more troops, the council must have a staff member or key volunteer travel with the contingent as the council contingent coordinator. Greater Yosemite Council is planning a contingent of three troops. Cliff Bailey, a highly experienced volunteer, has been assigned as the GYC contingent coordinator. Cliff is also the chairman of the Greater Yosemite Council Jamboree Committee. He is a very busy person!

The contingent coordinator pays the same jamboree & tour fee as other adult leaders. He is also expected to serve on the regional or subcamp jamboree staff once the contingent arrives at the jamboree site.

The council contingent coordinator is the person to whom jamboree unit leaders can turn for help in solving problems en route to and from the jamboree.
