The following adult leaders are not currently assigned to a troop for the Greater Yosemite Council jamboree contingent. They will be called upon for service should one of the assigned leaders not be able to fulfill his duties. Reserve leaderswere selected, and are trained, using the same process and standards as active leaders.

Clint Armes
Mr. Armes currently serves as the Unit Commissioner for Pack 326 and Troop 27 in Hughson. He also serves as the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 451 and the Assistant Advisor for Crew 451 both in Turlock. Mr. Armes is looking forward to attending the 2010 National Jamboree so that he may serve the youth of America in any and every way possible. He has attended the 2001 and 2005 National Jamborees as an adult. Mr. Armes has received both the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver award.
Mr. Armes is busily retired. He serves as a volunteer for United Salvations Communities Program, the Brown Bag Program, provides lunch meals for the homeless, and regularly participates in holiday food drives. Simply put Mr. Armes helps any and everyone in need.
Mr. Armes has been married for 22 years to his wife Christine. They have a son, John, who is an Eagle Scout and attends California State University Stanislaus.

John Armes
Mr. Armes currently serves as a member of Venture Crew 451 in Turlock. Mr. Armes is attending the 2010 National Jamboree so that Boy Scouts achieve and enjoy the same quality experience he had as youth when he attended the 2001 and 2005 National Jamborees. He is an Eagle Scout and served as the Senior Patrol Leader for one of Greater Yosemite Council's contingent Troops at the 2005 National Jamboree.
Mr. Armes is currently a junior at California State University Stanislaus where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Choral Music Education. He plans to be a high school choir teacher. His community service includes work for the Hughson School District as an After School Program Leader. He also serves through active membership in the Hughson LDS Church where he is an Assistance Choir Director. He has been a member of the American Choral Directors Association for four years.

David Day
Mr. Day currently serves as the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 4 in Turlock. He also serves as the El Capitan District Chairman. Mr. Day looks forward to serving as a Scoutmaster and attending the 2010 National Jamboree with two of his sons. As a youth, he earned the Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts and was a Boy Scout. As an adult he has served in a variety of Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader positions including Cubmaster, Chartered Organizational Representative, Scoutmaster, and Troop Committee member. Mr. Day is Wood Badge trained and has earned the Boy Scout Leader's Training Award, both the youth and adult religious awards. He has received the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver award.
Mr. Day has been a teacher for Modesto City Schools for the past 15 years. He has coached school water polo and swimming programs for four years. His community service includes serving as a bishop of the Turlock LDS Church Fourth Ward.
Mr. Day and his wife Lynette are the parents of eight children, six of whom are boys. His eldest daughter is happily married and attending school at BYU Idaho. His oldest three sons are Eagle Scouts, while the other three are progressing towards that award.

Jeff DeGraff - 2nd Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. DeGraff currently is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 21 in Turlock. He spent many years in Scouts as a youth and earned the Eagle Scout rank in 1985 when he was 17 years old. As an adult, he has served a Cub Scout Den Leader and is a Troop 21 Committee Member.
Mr. DeGraff works in the information technologies field maintaining computer networks and coordinating all company communications of a multi-location agricultural equipment dealer. He currently serves on his church board as a member of their Vestry.
Mr. DeGraff has been married to his beautiful wife Cindy for over 15 years. He has two kids ages 8 and 13. His daughter, Haley (8), enjoys girl scouts, soccer and the church youth group. His son, Justin (13) enjoys the drums and is an active Star Scout in Troop 21, Turlock. Mr. DeGraff looks forward to attending the national jamboree with his son. He wants to create some awesome memories that will last a lifetime.

Doug Evers - 3rd Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Evers is currently registered as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 451 in Turlock. He has been participating in Scouting as an adult leader since 1996. In addition to his current role, he has served in the capacity of Den Leader, Cubmaster, and popcorn sales chairman. He has attended Camp Mensinger five times with his troop and was also an advisor for a 2007 Philmont Scout Ranch trek. He is a Brotherhood member in Order of the Arrow. He has received the District Award of Merit and was presented the Silver Beaver Award in 2008.
Mr. Evers has worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 33 years as a letter carrier. Her served as Branch President for the letter carries for 13 years where he helped organized the annual "Letter Carrier Food Drive and "Gifts for Kids" toy drive. He is an active member of his church and has helped organize and oversee the annual Scout Sunday Service.
Mr. Evers and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 21 years. They have two sons Aaron and Sean. Aaron attened the the 2005 National Jamboree and earned his Eagle Scout rank in 2007. Sean plans to be an Eagle Scout by the time he attends the 2010 National Jamboree with his father.

Doug Marks, D.V.M.
Dr. Marks currently serves as the Scoutmaster for Troop 451 in Turlock. He wants to attend the 2010 National Jamboree to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouts. His scouting accomplishments include earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 1969 and being presented the Silver Beaver Award in 2000. He has served as a Ranger at the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, helped organize Boy Scout Crew 451, and started a veterinary Explorer Post. He has also led two Crews to Philmont Scout Ranch.
Dr. Marks, a veterinarian, is a partner/owner in the Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital in Turlock. He serves as the veterinarian for California State University, Stanislaus; and for the Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center. He has been a member of Rotary Club International since 1989. He has served as the junior high youth leader at Monte Vista Chapel for almost 20 years.
Dr. Marks is the father of three adult sons and a daughter-in-law. One of his sons is an Eagle Scout. He has been married to his wife, Cathy, for over 35 years.

Craig Shively - 2nd Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Shively currently serves as a Committee Member for Troop 21 in Turlock. He has been involved in Scouting with his son for the past three years. He has quickly come up to speed on all basic Scout leadership knowledge by completing Fast Start and Leader Essentials Training. He has also completed courses in Safety Afloat, Safe Swim Defense, and Youth Protection. He looks forward to attending the 2010 National Jamboree so he can spend time with his son and help other Scouts from our area have a great experience.
Mr. Shively is a Technical Trainer with Charter Communications. His work focuses on job safety and customer service along with technical skills.

Steve Winchester
Steve Winchester currently serves as the Scoutmaster for Troop 291 in Lodi. Mr. Winchester is looking forward to leading his Troop to the Centennial Boy Scout Jamboree. He has been actively involved in the Scouting program since 1991. Mr. Winchester is Wood Badge trained and completed the Buckskin Adult Leader training program in 1997. He has served on staff for a variety of training programs including Scoutmaster Fundamentals, University of Scouting, Wood Badge, and Area 3 Training Conference. Mr. Winchester has received many Scouting awards including the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver award.
Mr. Winchester is a painting contractor in the Lodi area. He just completed his 20th year in the industry. He has previously served as a boy's little league baseball coach.
Mr. Winchester has two sons: Zachery (24), an Eagle Scout, and Nicolas (19) who earned the Life Scout rank. He greatly enjoys working with boys of all ages.
