John Drebinger - Scoutmaster
John Drebinger Jr. currently serves as the Chartered Organization Representative for Galt Rotary Club's Troop 238. John is serving as Scoutmaster of the Red Troop and wants to give back to this generation of Scouts what he received on his trail to Eagle Scout. In addition to being an Eagle Scout he is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow and has been recognized by the Greater Yosemite Council with the Silver Beaver award. He has served as Camp Director at Camp Cherry Valley on Catalina Island and Camp 49er in the Gold Country. He is Woodbadge trained and has served on the staff of several National Youth Leader Training courses.
John Drebinger Jr is a nationally known Certified Speaking Professional. He presents motivational safety presentations to most of this country's top corporations. An expert in communication he teaches leaders how to make their presentations effective. He is also a Certified Hypnotherapist which he studied to enhance communication skills. A professional magician he is proud member of the prestigious Hollywood Magic Castle. His community service includes his Church, St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Elk Grove. He serves as Board President for "The Sending Place", an organization that trains short term Christian missionaries. He is a Past President of the Galt Rotary Club.
John Drebinger Jr. has been married for 38 years to his wonderful wife Karen who is also an active Scouter who served at the 2005 Jamboree on staff at the BMX bike area. They have two children, Jessica and John III. Jessica is married to Paul Tate and has a wonderful daughter Lauren. John III is a student at Biola University in La Mirada, CA.

Robert Ramos - 1st Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Ramos currently serves as Troop Committee Chairman and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 238 in Galt. His experience with Scouts includes nine years as a Cubmaster and Den Leader and was the director of Lodi Lake Day camp for three years. He was presented the District Award of Merit in 2001.
Mr. Ramos has been a California Highway Patrol officer for 20 years. He was awarded with the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Officer of the Year in 1995 and Officer of the year for Valley Division Investigative Services in 2004. He has coached baseball and T-ball in Galt for many years. He has made presentations to high school students about drinking and driving.
Mr. Ramos has four boys, ages 18, 17, 13 and 2, one of whom will attend the 2010 Jamboree. Two of his sons are Life Scouts. His eldest son is an Eagle Scout. Mr. Ramos volunteered to be an Assistant Scoutmaster so he can experience the Jamboree and tour with his son and share the experience with other adults leaders and youth.

Scott Vander Ploeg -2nd Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Vander Ploeg currently serves as the Scoutmaster for Troop 515 in Tracy. Mr. Vander Ploeg is looking forward to attending the 2010 Jamboree with his entire family! He was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as a youth. He has been a registered adult leader for 10 years. Mr. Vander Ploeg is Wood Badge trained and has served on staff for two Wood Badge courses. He organized the first Tracy Scout Expo in 2006. He has received the District Award of Merit and is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.
Mr. Vander Ploeg is employed by US Foodsource in the procurement department. He is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tracy. He enthusiastically supports the music and drama program at Tracy High School.
Mr. Vander Ploeg has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 17 years. He is the father of three boys. Two sons, Kyle and Cory, are currently members of Troop 515 in Tracy. The 2010 Jamboree will be Kyle's second Jamboree experience and Cory's first.

John Drebinger III - 3rd Assistant Scoutmaster

John Drebinger III currently serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Galt Rotary Club's Troop 238. He is serving as the Third Assistant Scoutmaster for the Red Troop. He wants to attend the Jamboree in this capacity to lend his leadership and knowledge of what boys are looking for in the Scouting program. He served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for the 2005 Jamboree. He is an Eagle Scout with Bronze, Gold and Silver Palms.
John Drebinger III is a student at Biola University, La Mirada, California. He is in Biola's Torrey Honors Institute and is a business major. He serves as a Student Body Senator and is the first Freshman to serve in that position.
John Drebinger III has had the exciting experience of actually sitting on board the Space Shuttle Atlantis and flown the actual simulator the astronauts train on. On a visit to the Johnson Space Center he had the opportunity to enter the vault where all the moon rocks are stored.
