When submitting the application, there will be a $10 nonrefundable processing fee payable by credit card. This is not part of the jamboree fee.

The website will direct you to print your registration confirmation. Send the completed form to the Modesto Scout Service Center with a $150 deposit. (The national website indicates a $100 deposit is due with the application; however, there is an additional deposit of $50 due Greater Yosemite Council to cover start-up costs and tour reservation fees. Therefore, the total deposit due is $150. The entire deposit will be deducted from your jamboree fee.)

Adult Leader Fee

The 2010 National Jamboree & Tour fee for volunteer adult leaders is $2,218.

This covers shelter, food, insurance, equipment, program material, transportation, tours, and pre-jamboree training.

Adult leaders need to plan for additional expenses that include: uniforms, personal items and spending money.

Adult leaders are volunteers. Each adult leader gives hundreds of hours of service to the jamboree. They must attend several days of training and take an employment leave to serve the Scouts of Greater Yosemite Council.
