2010 National Jamboree

Greater Yosemite Council will send a contingent of three troops to the national jamboree. Each troop has 4 adult leaders, 4 junior leaders and 32 scouts. This makes a total of 36 boys and 4 adults per troop. Scouts, who are not junior leaders, are assigned to one of four patrols.

Boys from across the council are assigned to troops based on a variety of factors. Check below for additonal information on the trooop assignment process.

Maintaining Scout-led troops during the jamboree & tour means junior leaders must be highly qualified. Boys interested in becoming junior leaders must apply, interview and be accepted by the adult leadership core. Details on becoming a jamboree troop junior leader are provided below.
