Each jamboree troop is assigned four adult leaders: Scoutmaster, first assistant Scoutmaster, second assistant Scoutmaster, and third assistant Scoutmaster. The scoutmaster and assistant scoutmasters all have specific duties. Each adult is also partnered with a junior leaders to ensure smooth troop operation.
Selection of adult leaders for the Greater Yosemite Council jamboree contingent was a highly competitive process. Fifty-three scoutmasters submitted detailed applications and went through an interview process. This group of distinguished scouter yielded 16 scoutmasters who will lead the jamboree contingent.
