Attending the 2010 National Jamboree requires a serious financial committment. This is true for youth, volunteer adult leaders and members of the national staff. All participants pay to attend the jamboree.
Why would adults pay to volunteer their time and service? Simply put: The national jamboree is worth the investment.
We believe families will find it is also a good investment for their sons. Sometimes the most important financial measure is not cost...but value.
There are many oppportunities for Scouts to earn a substantial portion of the money needed to participate in the jamboree and tour. There are also some partial scholarships available from the jamboree committee. Details are provided in this section of the website.
